August updateThe sequel to Separated Soul is currently in Layout with the publisher. It starts with a prologue concerning La Lune's fate at the end of the previous book. The first chapter is Feline's return to Britannia. Four more characters are introduced in the book, although two of them were "heard" telepathically by Feline in the first book. One of these new players in the book is the title character, The Secret Sorcerer, but I'll leave it to the reader to figure out which one it is, for now. I have seen the cover design for Secret Sorcerer and was very happy with it. It ties in nicely with Separated Soul's cover creating a uniformity of design with the previous book in the Moon Child Memoirs Series.
I have decided to prepare for the release of Secret Sorcerer, which will be sometime in either October or November, with a promotional campaign for Separated Soul. I am currently considering a promotional giveaway on Goodreads, and possibly either a reading or book signing at a Vancouver Island branch of Chapters Bookstores. I will post a special update for each once I have them arranged with dates and details. One of my professors from Malaspina, now known as Vancouver Island University, was kind enough to send a review of Escape to Ellse Where for inclusion on this site. I started a reviews page where his comments on the book can be found. |
